(We will print submissions anonymously if requested)
Though these submissions can be printed anonymously, we ask that you provide your name to the editor at The Oxford Review.
If you do provide your name to the editor, but if picked, and you would like your piece published anonymously, please note that on both the body of your submission and in your document.
Subject: For a socialist society + Against a socialist society
This piece must have:
· A clear argument introduction, Evidence, Key Points, Conclusion
· No ad hominem attacks
· Must be persuasive (this is sort of a joke; of course you must be persuasive, that is the point)
This is a new category, and we will only print this category if we have outstanding essays from both positions. We are not interested in publishing only one side of an argument.
Therefore, your piece may be accepted on a contingency basis but may not be printed if a convincing argument for the counter side is not submitted to The Oxford Review.
General Requirements:
1. Microsoft Word or PDFs only.
2. Written in English.
3. Submitted double spaced in a 12-point standard font.
We do not accept fully italicized fonts or decorative shadow fonts like Algerian.
4. Title location should be top centre
5. First and last name, email and phone number one line down to the left or right under the title. This only needs to be on the first page.
6. Page numbers (preferred at the bottom centre, but can anywhere).
7. Submissions can be printed anonymously but cannot be submitted anonymously.
